Story Behind the Painting:
This painting was commissioned for a three year old boy, Livio’s, new room when his family moved to their new home in Lausen, Switzerland.
Livio loves animals and being outdoors with nature in the Swiss Countryside.
Old McDonald’s Farm is all about the mischief that the farm animals get up to when the farmer, Old McDonald, is away.
Livio was very proud to have a painting of his own and could not wait to show it off to his friends whenever they came to visit his home.
His parents told us, “He asked for it to be hung low so that he can see it.”
