When Ellie Meets Hedgehog

Story Behind the Painting:

This painting was created as a special “Thank You” to Kate, who helped me design Milc’s logo. Kate wanted something cute and girly for Abigail, her 1-year old daughter – which I was so thrilled and excited about to work on because I finally get to paint all things pretty and pink. (I actually sourced the fluorescent pink paint that I used to paint her name from Switzerland!) I wanted to create a story and reflect the love that I felt around Kate and Abigail. In doing this piece, I learned a lot about hedgehogs. Not only are they adorable, they all have their own little personalities. I love their little bellies!
