Oh the thrill of wandering a new street or discovering a new alleyway in a foreign or local city, getting lost only to realise you found life! Life that is on the walls, the shops and cafes, the buzz and the force that makes each and every place and land unique. Life that is the people!
Having an adventurous spirit will energise us to approach life with wonder and excitement every single day – therefore never having to dread a single day of one’s life!
Having a sense of adventure will encourage one to constantly try new things, have never-ending curiosity for life and the world.
And we as parents, can only hope to instil that in our child!
This painting is titled “Adventure” because simply, everyone in this painting is headed off for an adventure – to the beach! If you study closely enough, even the crab lifeguard is excited to be on lifeguard duty at the beach across the road..and the little ducks couldn’t be more thrilled!

Backstory of the Original Painting
This painting as Mishell’s second commission and it was for a special little 17-months old toddler, Callum, who loves vehicles and animals.
“You’ve managed to capture the essence of what we were hoping for in the painting and so so so much more. Callum loves it so much he demands it to be part of of his bedtime routine…..he has been insisting we bring the painting every evening so he can touch and look at it up close.”

Our Personalised Limited Edition Prints – How does it Work?
When Mishell thought of creating limited edition prints of her unique Art pieces, she wanted to go one step further than just a print. She herself is a fan of all things personalised because she believes that it makes something that much more special.
Therefore, for all our Prints in our Happiness Collection, you can personalise and make it YOUR own print. You can add your name and other personal details like birthdate, nationality or even your favourite quote to the artwork (at no additional cost*).
You will also be able to specify your preference for where to place the details and we will do our best to make you happy. We will, however, reserve the right to the final artistic voice (if you don’t mind).
How it Works – Simple!
- Indicate the details (and preferences, if you have any) on the comments upon checkout.
- We will contact you via email to confirm your order
- We will then send you a draft mockup of your personalised print – until you are happy* with the Artwork.
- We send the Artwork for professional archival printing
- Once printed, Mishell will sign, number and date the artwork and Ship it to wherever you are!
- Framing services will currently only be available to Singapore and Malaysia addresses only (we want to keep shipping costs low and pragmatic for you!)
*We allow up to two iterations of the artwork for free, after which an hourly charge of USD$35 will apply for further changes.
The Personal Touch
Each Limited Edition Print will be numbered (out of 20) and personally signed and dated by Mishell, the artist.
Each Print will also be accompanied by a personal note from Mishell, dedicated to the Child (because we believe in the importance of the personal touch!).
